Mental Health First Aid at Work is a program that teaches participants how to notice and support an individual who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use concern or crisis and connect them with the appropriate employee resources. Mental Health First Aid at Work is a skills-based experiential and evidence-based practice. Corporate Solutions Lead The National Council for Mental Wellbeing Jonathan leads the Mental Health First Aid at Work program, helping private sector employers educate and train employees on the MHFA Action Plan. He works directly with large employers to design and deliver custom workplace mental health and addiction training solutions. He also manages partnerships with large benefits administrators and health plans to bring MHFA at Work to employers of all sizes throughout the country. As a senior leader at several non-profit associations from 2008-2018, including National Quality Forum and CAQH, Jonathan was responsible for dues and sponsorship revenue, special events, and member benefits and services. Jonathan spent eight years managing a product portfolio at Ingenix, now Optum, a UnitedHealth Group company, where he led technical and product marketing teams in building claims and health information management software and data solutions. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia in May 1995 and then a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Bath in June 2009. |
