Join the Northern New Jersey ISCEBS Chapter for a webinar on June 11th at 1:00 pm. CAPTRUST’s DC Practice Leader, Jennifer Doss and Retirement Plan Consultant Scott Wertheim will provide an update on the Defined Contribution CARES Act provisions which were passed into law to assist plan participants directly impacted by COVID-19. Jennifer and Scott will provide updates on utilization of these provisions across the industry including information from four recordkeepers and their experiences. Lastly, they will share updates on actions taken by participants as well as ideas participants should consider.
We expect the sessions to be interactive and encourage all to use video for the zoom meeting. There is no cost for chapter members and non-chapter members to attend the virtual session.
Jennifer Doss, Director, DC Practice Leader
Jennifer joined CAPTRUST in 2007 and is currently a director and practice leader, responsible for leading the development of defined contribution services to address the needs of CAPTRUST’s clients. Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer worked as a financial advisor at Ameriprise. Jennifer received a Bachelor degree in accounting with a concentration in finance from North Carolina State University and holds the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS) designation.
Scott Wertheim, Senior Vice President, Retirement Plan Consultant
Scott joined CAPTRUST in 2007 and is an Investment and Retirement Plan Consultant to corporations and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining the firm he managed the Retirement Plan Division of Wall Street Access. Scott received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Union College. He earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation and is certified as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). In 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 Scott was named to the Financial Times 401 Top Retirement Plan Advisors and in 2015, 2018 and 2019 he was recognized as one of PLANADVISER’s Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisers by Planadviser Magazine.
