John Coleman is a Senior Principal in Mercer’s Employee Health & Benefits business based in Morristown, New Jersey. With over 17 years of experience at Mercer, John specializes in helping clients develop both short- and long-term benefits strategies that drive practical innovations aligned with their organizational goals. John possesses extensive knowledge of employer healthcare reform issues, providing clients with critical insights into the financial implications of their benefit plans. His expertise encompasses a wide range of projects, including network discount studies, RFP analyses, benchmarking, reserve setting, and the development of premium equivalent budget rates. In addition to his professional role, John is passionate about educating others on benefits decisions through his YouTube channel, “Friends With Your Benefits,” where he shares valuable insights to help individuals make informed choices regarding their benefits. John graduated cum laude from Rutgers University with a BA in Economics. He holds the CEBS designation, along with the Group Benefits Associate and Retirement Plans Associate specialty designations from the CEBS program. Additionally, John served as the President of the Northern New Jersey CEBS Chapter in 2018. About Paul Paul Cimino is a Partner, the New Jersey Office Leader, and a Global Client Manager in Mercer’s Morristown, NJ office. Paul is now in his 37th year in the industry and 24th year with Mercer. As New Jersey Office Leader, Paul is focused on growing Mercer’s presence in the Northern and Central New Jersey geography. In working directly with clients, Paul leads client relationships, providing team oversight and guidance and access to all aspects of Mercer’s HR consulting resources. Paul has specific expertise in health and welfare benefit plan design, and underwriting; and leads several benefits brokerage and consulting client relationships. He has also previously functioned in multiple geographic sales leadership roles and is a frequent speaker including at annual seminars highlighting the results of Mercer’s National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Plans Paul holds a B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from the Seton Hall University School of Law. He maintains a New Jersey Resident Life and Health Producer’s License, non-resident licenses in several other states, and is currently an inactive (retired status) Attorney at Law of the State of New Jersey. |
